Mariah James-Wyrick

Mariah is a creative director with Run the World Digital.

Mariah started her career in politics at the beginning of her junior year when she was accepted to the UGA Semester Internship program in Washington, DC where she served in the office of Congressman Sanford Bishop as a press intern. After that experience, she transferred to George Washington University where she earned a degree in political science.

Following graduation, she joined Park Street Strategies, a small PR firm in Washington, DC that focused on messaging for clients. She missed being involved in political activism and a year later began working for For Our Future Ohio as a digital organizer and spent the next year working to elect Democrats in Ohio. After the November 2018 election, Mariah looked for another challenge and joined Run the World Digital to help promote progressive organizations and candidates throughout the nation.
