Kate Burnett

Kate is a digital strategist with Run the World.

She started her career at the Environmental League of Massachusetts where she helped climate champions get elected into state and local offices through local organizing, mail, and texting programs. As the head of the internship program, Kate also found her passion for training and empowering young people in local politics. This work sparked her interest in supporting progressive local candidates, particularly women of color, and led her to run campaigns for State Representative Brandy Fluker Oakley and City Councilor Gerly Adrien.

Kate graduated from Wellesley College in 2016 with a dual degree in Biology and Environmental Studies. She loves dogs, reality tv, traveling, and ordering off the seasonal menu.
