Position Description:

We are seeking a Graphic Design Intern to support our growing digital team with email and digital ad graphics that will aid in campaign growth. Interns will work with staff to produce various pieces on a weekly basis.

Responsibilities:

  • Aid in drafting content for multi-channel platforms, maintaining and tracking content calendars for online, email, and acquisition ads campaigns.
  • Draft graphic content for fundraising emails, social media campaigns, websites, and ads.
  • Report weekly and monthly analytics on ads and email campaigns.
  • Share creative and innovative ideas that enhance the candidate’s fundraising bottom-line and online profile.
  • Design basic documents, templates, acquisition ads, and other communications for the company and clients.
  • Assist senior management with various projects as needed, such as researching  potential clients, gathering information on upcoming elections, researching polling results, among other tasks.

Required Qualifications:

  • Ability to think outside of the box and create multiple unique designs, when given a set of parameters from a client 
  • Ability to successfully work on multiple projects at once, effectively communicating with your manager to discuss and adjust deadlines as needed.
  • Extreme attention to detail.
  • Passion to elect progressive candidates to office.

Preferred (But NOT Required) Qualifications:

  • Past experience creating ads for emails and social media.
  • Video and photo editing experience.
  • HTML coding experience.
  • Data entry and analysis experience.
  • Graphic design skills or motion graphics, including the use of any or all of the following programs: 
    • Premier
    • Final Cut Pro
    • Davinci Resolve
    • Adobe Illustrator

Location: 

This is a permanently remote position. Candidates must be able to work from home and feel comfortable frequently engaging with colleagues and partners by phone, video conference, email, and other digital communications tools. 

Compensation:

$15/hour
