Sam Pedreiro is the chief of staff at Run the World.
Sam has maintained a strong commitment to advancing opportunity, equity, and justice for underserved groups in our society throughout her career. She has worked in various settings, including government, academia, politics, and social justice nonprofit organizations on issues such as gender equity and empowerment, low-income housing, environmental justice, and workforce development.
Most recently, Sam worked on the State and Local Campaigns Team at EMILY’s List, where she oversaw a portfolio of 300+ diverse women candidates in races in 27 states, serving as liaison between internal departments to vet, train, fund, endorse, canvass for, and publicize candidates. She is passionate about building a pipeline of progressive, diverse leaders ready to serve at all levels of government.
Originally from the Bronx, Sam currently resides in New Jersey. In her free time, she enjoys being with friends and family, traveling, attending the theater, going to museums, and exploring new neighborhoods. Sam holds a Bachelor of Arts from Cornell University and a Master of Public Administration from American University.
